The Special Libraries Association Annual Conference is just around the corner. If you are going, please consider sharing your experiences, pictures, and bits of wisdom on this blog. Also, contact me (acoffin at gmail dot com) if you want to meet up.
Even if you're not going to the conference, you can still benefit from information produced by its attendees. For example:
Browse the conference wiki for ideas on how you can use wikis for library association events or in your own organization.
Check out the SLA2007 conference blog for happenings before, during and after the conference. Traffic on this blog will pick up around June 1, when attendees arrive in Denver. This is a good place to quickly get ideas. After the conference, pdf handouts, podcasts, etc. will be available, too.
The SLA2006 conference blog is still available, though no longer updated. There are links for presentation documents and podcasts as well.
Just some ideas for staying current in the profession when conference travel isn't in your budget.
